The paper and panel solicitation stage ended on June 15. We received well over 30 proposals. Since nearly all were on topic and from qualified individuals, we accepted enough to create 10 panels and one plenary. Notices of acceptance should be in the mail any day now. Thanks to everyone for an enthusiastic response to our first call!
The next stage involves constructing the program and reaching out to potential panel chairs and commentators. That process is about two-thirds complete. The program has been drafted; I expect that we’ll post it here relatively soon—even if not all the panel chair slots are filled. If you did not propose a paper or panel but are nevertheless interested in chairing, please e-mail either Paul Murphy or Tim Lacy.
