Reminder: S-USIH Book Award

To date, the committee who will be adjudicating the inaugural book prize for the S-USIH has yet to receive a single submission.  We wish to remind publishers, book authors and interested readers:  you have an opportunity to nominate — or self-nominate — a book for consideration.  The guidelines for the book prize, as well as the mailing addresses for submission of nominated books, are reprinted below.

Please help our Society recognize outstanding scholarship in the field of U.S. intellectual history by submitting a nomination for this award.  Since this award is new and not yet widely known, we ask any reader who is especially impressed by a particular text to please contact that book’s publisher and encourage them to submit the book for consideration.
