An Emerging Historiography of the Culture Wars

If you’re a regular or even semi-regular reader of this blog, you know that I am writing a book on the culture wars. I am happy to report that I’m making considerable progress. Thanks to a sabbatical last semester, which allowed me to establish a regular writing routine, I have about 80,000 words written out of the 110,000 that the press has allotted me. I have considerable work ahead of me. Beyond writing two more chapters, I still need to write my introduction, which I am saving for last, in part because I suspect it will be my toughest task.
